Sunday Adventures: Birthdays, Sidewalk Art & Tickets

We had the perfect sunny summer weekend full of family and fun! These are the kind of days that fly by too quickly, but leave our hearts filled with memories.

Our first adventure was helping the kiddos surprise Grandma for her birthday. We don’t get to celebrate with her very often, so it was fun to plan a small surprise party.

Don grilled a delicious Petit Jean ham that Grandma and Peepaw brought with them from Arkansas. Petit Jean meats are one of Arkansas’ treasures and this was 16 pounds of smoked perfection.

Grandma’s birthday cake was beautifully decorated with plenty of flowers for everyone. The kids helped blow out her candles and open her cards.

After a serious basketball challenge, our driveway and sidewalk were transformed into a little something fun!

We weren’t too busy to order our tickets for Bob Lung’s Midwest Fantasy Football Expo which will be next weekend in Canton, OH.

We can’t wait to see what Bob has lined up, and know without a doubt it will be informative and fun!
