Fantasy 2023 Recap

Another fantasy season is over! Seems like yesterday we were talking about drafting, and now it’s a wrap.

It was an exciting season – we did great in some leagues, not so good in others.

We were so excited to be selected for Scott Fish Bowl 13 and even more excited that we both made the playoffs. For a couple weeks, we were both in first place in our divisions. Don was in the Aldi division, and I was in the Sonic Division (yay for Cherry Limeades and Onion Rings!). We made new friends and had a very competitive season. I came in first in my division, but lost in the first week of playoffs. Don made it for two weeks before he got knocked out. What a fun time! We hope to be in SFB14 and attend a live draft.

We were in two other leagues together – Howard Bender’s Dirty Laundry League and Troy Norris’ Smackdown Sports Legends League. Don made the playoffs in Dirty Laundry and we both made the playoffs in Troy’s league. We are both competitive and love the weeks we play against each other.

We co-owned a team in the Fabiano Invitational Dynasty League, our first dynasty league together. We started the year 7-0. After the 7th game, we lost Kirk Cousins, lost 3 games in a row and then won the last 4 games. We were in first place and lost to Tommy Dreamer in the playoffs, who ended up winning the whole league. Tough loss made even tougher because we would have won the final week. We are looking forward to being in this league for years to come!

We were in sixteen leagues, made the playoffs in seven and had one championship. Not too shabby!
