2022 Fantasy Football Expo

We have had a week to reflect on last weekend’s Fantasy Football Expo in Canton, Ohio. The hundreds (thousands?) of Twitter posts we’ve read let us know that our feelings about the Expo are the same as the other attendees. What an experience!

The Expo definitely lived up to and surpassed all expectations. Each year, Bob Lung’s creation is bigger and better than the year before. This year, we were able to go to Canton on Friday, so we could enjoy the full weekend of activities.

We’ve made lifelong friends in the fantasy football world. The Expo has turned into a friends reunion as much as a learning experience. Ordinary folks like us can not only walk up to and talk to the experts in the field, but we have also made amazing friends in the process. The industry professionals are as down to earth as they come, and make everyone feel welcome in their presence.

Scott Fish had to have been the most popular guy at the Expo! We wanted to say hello, but so did everyone else at all the events. Scott is gracious and willing to talk to all of his fans which makes him even more likable. Thank you, Scott, for the awesome things you are doing in the Fantasy Football world. We appreciate all the hard work you put into raising money for charities.

Don drafted with Draft Night Out again. This year the draft was held in the press box at Tom Benson Stadium at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The press box looks out over the stadium and gave the perfect atmosphere for the draft. The Kings Classic draft was held at the same time, one level down. We can’t think of anywhere that would be a better place to hold a fantasy football draft.

Shout out to TrophySmack who attended the Expo, supplied prizes for the weekend competitions and even competed in the flag football tournament. Matt Walsh is one of the biggest personalities we’ve ever met and we really enjoyed talking to him at the Kings Classic draft and at the TrophySmack booth at the Expo. Every Fantasy Football league NEEDS a TrophySmack trophy, belt or ring! Check them out at www.trophysmack.com. Thanks to Matt, we now each have our own Championship ring and will proudly keep them on display.

Thank you, Bob Lung, for the time and effort you give to making the Expo such an amazing event. Somehow, in all the busyness of the weekend, you still take time to make every person feel like they are your special guest. We appreciate you and can’t wait for FFExpo23!
