Ready for Week Ten!

We are heading into Week Ten with winning records and alive in the Survivor Pool.  That doesn’t mean we are taking anything for granted – we have spent more time reading and researching this week than in the past few weeks.  The Fantasy Football Experience league is coming down to the wire and we both need to keep winning and scoring as many points as we possibly can in order to make it to the playoffs.  We have our eyes on the prize and definitely want to win the Grand Prize package of having next year’s draft party at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Week Ten’s Thursday Night Football features Cleveland vs Baltimore.  While it seems like the winless Browns might go 0-16 this year, a few of the experts think they stand a chance of beating the Ravens tonight.  My first instinct was to break two rules at once and take the Ravens in a Thursday Night game for the Survivor Pool pick.  After reading several experts’ opinions, I decided it would be a risky pick and better left alone.  Arizona over San Francisco on Sunday seems a much safer choice and one that might keep me alive another week.

The deeper we get into the season, the more we are relying on the experts’ advice to keep our teams strong.  We are spending more and more time listening to Sirius XM Fantasy Radio and we have several sources that we follow to stay on top of the fantasy news. Tonight I told Don we should drive around every night and listen to the experts.  Whatever it takes, right?
