What Our Favorite T-Shirts Say About Us

(And our Scott Fish Bowl gear obsession)

In every couple there are little things that tell the story of who you are. Sometimes, those stories are worn right on your sleeves. Today we are diving into the fantasy football T-shirts we wear the most, why we love them and what they reveal about our fantasy football lifestyle.

T-Shirts are a big business. The global T-Shirt market is projected to reach $227 billion in 2025. According to Google, the average price of a T is approximately $20. Without doing the exact math, this is a lot of T-Shirts!

Everybody owns T-Shirts and they are a reflection of our personalities. Typically, we are proud of what we are wearing on our chest. Whether it is the school we went to, or the college or professional team we root for, it’s something we like to represent.

This is one of our favorite times of the year to purchase shirts because the Scott Fish Bowl T’s have been released. The Scott Fish Bowl is a Fantasy Football league that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity. It is the main fundraising event for Fantasy Cares and raises money throughout the fantasy community. The majority of the funds they raise are used to buy toys for children for Christmas, but they also support dog rescues, hurricane relief effort, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and many other worthy causes.

Every year the SFB has a different theme, and those themes are incorporated into the T-Shirts. This year’s theme is a sports team theme. With all the colors and team options, there are thousands of possibilities, but we had to narrow it down to our favorites. This year, Don is in the Cleveland Guardians division of the SFB, so he picked two of the Guardians shirts. Even if you’re not in the Scott Fish Bowl, you can show your support and help out this awesome organization.

T-Shirts can create a bond between people, sometimes even complete strangers. What we wear on our shirts can cause other people to comment about our team, or whatever it is that we are wearing. Whether you are at a game, or simply out shopping, when you see someone with a like-minded T-Shirt, it has the power to start a conversation. A Browns T-Shirt can easily bring up a cheer of “Go Browns!” or a comment about the current state of the team.
