Week Fourteen Results

Week Fourteen was an exciting week for Cleveland Browns fans. Baker Mayfield led his team to another win, keeping our playoff hopes and dreams alive. It will take a miracle for the Browns to end up in the NFL playoffs, but miracles are what Cleveland is all about. In order to continue into the post-season, the Browns have to win the remaining three games, the Steelers have to lose every game, and a whole series of wins and losses have to take place with the Bengals and the Ravens.

Don won his Hometown Trophy League game 86-78 giving him a record of 8-6, tied for first place. The last three weeks in the season are critical because he will be facing off against teams in his division. Come on Huge Trophy! We have a special place in our living room for you!

We are both kind of bummed that we got knocked out of Bob Lung’s Fantasy Cares Best Ball Eliminator League. However, it was our first time to play and we were happy to make it this close to the end of the season! The best part of this League was donating to a wonderful cause that will make Christmas brighter for children.

While we are on the subject of being bummed, my cheery spirit took a temporary nosedive Sunday when the stinky Pittsburgh Steelers lost! The 5 Rings Eliminator Pool was down to two remaining survivors. Scott took Tennessee in the Thursday Night Game and won. I took the Steelers over Oakland in what should have been a sure win. Evidently, Ben Roethlisberger has a problem playing in Oakland and has never won a game there. Congratulations Scott! This was an incredibly hard season for Survivor Pools and I think everyone who stayed in past Week Three did a great job.

We are rocking the Football Diehards Listeners League! We are in the middle of a two week playoff game, and looking good so far. Our only worry right now is that Tyreek Hill is day-to-day, but chances are he will play.  I am super lucky to be married to a Fantasy Football expert who has made me look really good in this League!

Being A Fantasy Football Couple has been fun for us, and it has been good for our marriage. We are a great team on and off the field.
