Week 1 is in the books. Some things have changed while others have not. The Cleveland Browns in week 1 lost again! In fact they have not won a week one game since 2004. No one likes to start 0-1 But there are still 15 games to go and 1 game does not mean the end of the season. Now on to our fantasy games.
The big game in our household this week was the first ever match up between Sally and I. Sally started out with a big lead after Thursday’s game but I came back on Sunday to take the victory 250-210. I have to say Sally put together a good team but the chips did not fall her way. She will get another chance at me later in the season. In the SiriusXM Ring of Honor league I played Diamond Mike. Mike won his way into the league by having the worst fantasy football bad beat. The game came down to the wire and I pulled out a 1 point victory 132 to 131. (Still hoping for no stat corrections). In my home town league I started out with a loss. Saquon Barkley did not help my team at all with a 104-86 loss. This year as I have done in the past I do 2 FFPC football guys leagues. I split them and went 1-1. Also this year I was in my first auction league. Not sure why it took me so long to participate in one but I really enjoyed the draft. That league I won 137-130. So all around not a bad week but wish I could have won a couple more of those games. Now on to week 2. We wish everyone a safe and healthy week.
