T-Shirts

T-Shirts represent our teams, mottos, logos, brands, music, things we do and places we go. A simple $5 gray shirt becomes $30 when the Nike swoosh is on the front.

Just about everywhere you go – restaurants, sporting events, vacation destinations – t-shirts can be bought to represent the fun times that were had.

Paying to advertise? Most people probably don’t think of t-shirts as a walking billboard, but companies produce new shirts all the time so we can advertise their brand.

There isn’t a sports fan out there that doesn’t have a team shirt (facts provided by Don Kurjan). Wearing a Cleveland shirt when we are out and about almost always results in someone saying, “Go Tribe!” or “Go Browns!”. Or derogatory comments from Pittsburgh fans.

Don recently purchased three new t-shirts – two for the Scott Fish Bowl and one for the Warrior Bowl. He hopes to get his SFB shirt in time to wear it to the Live Draft in Canton, Ohio. (Please check back for future blog post!)

Last year, we had A Fantasy Football Couple t-shirts made to wear to the Fantasy Football Expo and to give away. Representing our own blog was fun and we have really enjoyed seeing folks wearing our logo!

We love to see group t-shirts. Entire families or school classes decked out in the same shirt make it easy to identify that they are all together.

School T’s are another must for our wardrobe. We have a wide range from high school to college.

Don has designed shirts for his Aldi crews three times. After his store was remodeled, he gave all of his associates “The Crew That Made It New” shirts. “Hulking Out” shirts represented a favorite staff saying and he gave Team 19 shirts because they are Store #19 and a fantastic team.

Our favorite local designer is GV Artwork. They come out with many new shirts every year, and even get the players involved in designing them. GV’s individual athlete and team shirts cannot be beat, and it’s fun to see the players wearing their shirt. Check out GV at gvartwork.com.

Some t-shirts are such favorites that they get worn all the time and wear out quickly. Others are favorites and are never worn in order to keep them like new. What we choose to wear and represent says a lot about who we are. What is your favorite T?
