Looking Back

Our trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame yesterday brought back memories of the first time we went there. It’s hard to believe that was six years ago!

Back then, we weren’t A Fantasy Football Couple. It is safe to say we were barely a couple by that point. We had grown apart, both busy with our own interests, jobs, life.

Don received an email from the Pro Football Hall of Fame announcing a Fantasy Football Experience weekend. It was a two day event and featured experts and Hall of Fame members that he was very interested in going to see.

Not wanting to attend alone, Don asked me if I would like to go with him. At that time I had absolutely no interest in a two day Fantasy Football event (my how things changed!), but I decided a little bribery might be fun! I told Don if we could go shopping for a Coach purse, then I would be glad to tag along with him to Canton.

There was no way either of us could have known what an exceptional weekend that would be or how it would change our lives.

We will always be grateful for the fantastic event that Bob Lung created, and thankful for Warren Moon’s advice. Who knows where we would be without the Fantasy Football Experience!

I have to admit, when I went to work the following Monday, I told my coworkers I should return my new Coach purse. I had so much fun, it seemed wrong to keep it. Don has been told by a couple of our fantasy friends that the Coach purse was the best investment he ever made. We agree!
